Dr. Vivian Abobo, Vice-President

I am Dr Vivian Boma Abobo also known as big mammie one of the twins; I am the Daughter of Late Chief Dr A.N.Boma and late Mrs. Veronica Boma popularly known as Ungoh who taught in Government school Santa.

I am the owner of MedValt Pharmacy located in the Texas Medical Center. MedValt Pharmacy, LLC. Is a Limited Liability Corporation registered in the state of Texas. I have years of experience working as a pharmacist in the Texas Medical Center.

I obtained my Doctor of Pharmacy in 1998 from Texas Southern University, completed my Pharmacy Practiced Residency at The Methodist Medical Hospitals in Dallas and obtained my MBA from Texas Woman's University in 2009.

From 2005 to 2010, I was the Director of Pharmacy at The University of Texas Harris Health Psychiatric Hospital Center, managing a team of pharmacists and I also served as a preceptor and adjunct faculty for several years with the colleges of pharmacy in the Texas Medical Center (University of Houston, Texas Southern University and Texas Tech University).

I was also a member on the council of pharmacy executives in the Texas Medical Center. I have numerous publications with the American Society of Health System Pharmacists, co-authored publication with the American Journal of Psychiatry, and the Drug Information Association (DIA). I was also a nominee for the President's Award for Mentoring Women at the University of Texas 2009. My other awards include nominee for Diamond manager of the year at the University of Texas in 2009, Roche Preceptor of the Year by Texas Southern University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences in 2008. I also serve on several committees and boards.

I am married to Dr Abobo, Professor of Pharmacy Practice College of Pharmacy

I have two children.

I also support nonprofit organizations like KIVA.ORG AND CARE.ORG

I speak English and French and my native tongue Mogahmo and Ngemba.
